Albert has an extensive background in legal research and analysis in estate tax. For five years prior to joining Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP in 2018 he provided advice to wealthy and ultra-wealthy clients on how to transfer wealth to future generations in a tax efficient manner, taking into consideration estate as well as income tax ramifications. Additionally, Albert has extensive experience with reviewing trust agreements and collaborating with clients’ advisors in drafting trusts and entity agreements.
In Texas, Albert volunteered at the RioGrande legal Aid assisting low income Texans with tax disputes with the IRS, and he volunteered at the Legal Hospice of Texas where he provided legal services to low income individuals who were terminally ill or HIV positive with will drafting, medical power of attorney and other estate planning services.
